It's honestly hard to believe City and Utd fans are from the same City!!! Oh, hang on. <laugh>

Woohoo. Still not sunk in yet. We're like two neighbours our clubs, not well off but not from benefit street either. You then went and won the lottery, moved in to the gated estate with your city neighbours. But knowing where you came from aren't the snobs of the landed gentry.

I remember 85 against Norwich. Outside Wembley, after the final whistle, both sets of fans mixed and applauded each other, despite the sadness and elation.

This will be the same, I know it will !!

Honest fans, City have. No prawn-sandwich munching glory hunters.

I really can't stomach Man U after Fergie's autobiography said that Sunderland "were getting ideas above their station" in enquiring after an ageing Paul Scholes. Arrogant twat. Sums them up for me and I hope they have a nice long barren spell to give them a wake up call. Probably lose them all the groly hunters in China and the far East anarl :)

I have a lot of respect for City fans as they have been through the mill over the years too but stuck with their team. The Reds have dominated football for 25 years but the second they don't get it all their own way (6 ****ing months that's all) they are all up their own arse. I would really live to see them fall from grace over the next few years. ****ers.

Looking forward to mixing with and drinking with city boys in 7 weeks time and what ever happens, the cup is heading North again.

Great deal of respect shown there and that's cool, would have been easy for them to see its as a dream ticket to silverware, but then I guess they thought that v Wigan.

City fans stuck with them in large numbers right down to League One, and for that they have my respect, there have been a few incidents with them since they 'got good' around the SOL, but by and large they remain a good bunch, and the craic down London should be immense.

Anyone looking for superb quality accommodation, look at Premier Apartments London, I stay there all the time (and will be again, was already booked...), they are at Limehouse Docks so although not exactly handy for Wembley, there is a DLR stop outside.

You can usually get a high quality 3 bed apartment that sleeps 6 for about £240, and the standard is ****ing excellent.

Some good honest comments on the whole, although I had to laugh at the poster who said that all our victories against them were solely down to bad refereeing decisions..<laugh>

Being realistic Man City are firm favourites..but we do have a chance.

IIRC we have never had big fights or that much bad blood between us and and City. It was after all where Dennis Tueart ended up. Until City became an oil club they were in shadow of Manure. Now Manure are stuck with a money grabbing family of owners and like many are predicting may be on the wane. Their owners have leeched about £500m out of the club and their debt still stands at around £350m their days of dominating the transfer market are over, despite this Mata purchase. It may take another season or so but unless Manure can dump their present owners and/or keep Rooney/RvP and/or get new ones like them they are in decline, lets hope they do not make the top 4 and end up in the doldrums of the2nd tier Europe trophy.

Hey, you can't have everything. Didn't we get Tony Towers in return at some point......?

I lived right round the corner from Maine Road on Tintern St, just off Platt Lane back in the day (Lovely spot <yikes>), but Always felt a certain comraderie with city fans....and look forward to doing the Poznan on Sunday 2nd. After we win 1 nowt, of course....<nahnah>
