Not really a win for Man City at all. Much of what they claimed was dismissed. Wins largely due to delay in process, not incorrect rules or process.

The biggest thing here, imo, is that interest free loans from owners now need to be accounted for. Up to now owner loans were excluded, despite interest free loans clearly being of real financial benefit. Brighton, who are much lauded, may have the biggest challenge here. I dont suppose it will be back dated, but another loophole closed. Bit unlcear on why City went for this, other than to spite their fellow prem clubs who have pushed for their punishment. Arsenal have large interest free loans eg.
