right now we know

alisson has to play 2 for Brazil as ederson has faked a knock.

konate and matip will be rested, one will be fit for sure.

gravenberch and jones will be rested if fit.

really we just need to figure out that formation to combat the city 3241 set up as even if everyone was fit and rested I think we will be overloaded in the maccallister zone due to all the bodies city put there.

imo this game will answer a lot of questions.

1. vvd v haaland. the big ugly muppet of a forward needs supply and people to stand off him or pens so if vvd is back to approaching his best he should dbbe destroying this lad to the point he runs and hides on the other side of the park.

2. liverpool midfield. city's set up is designed to flood the midfield area with 6 bodies. 4 attacking cms and 2 holders. we will see what klopp has got with a real test here.

3. lfc attack. 2 and 3 of the forwards have scored in games but this is a game where lfc might just get parity and no more in possession so the forwards have to work hard and be ruthless. sterling had them coughing up ball left and right ffs. if we can press gvardiol and dias and akanji we might get chances
