Jelavic has a knee injury and probably won't feature. N'Doye is stuck in Paris, due to the Russian FA not sorting his paperwork(should he available for Villa). Diame is back in training, targeting a return for QPR on the 21st. Steve Bruce says the chairman wouldn't have got him new assistant Mike Phelan and striker Dame N'Doye if he was about to sack him.
"Jelavic has a knee injury" The same knee injury he had before the Newcastle game? **** me Bruce have you still not learnt your lesson.

I'm aware of what threads there, there is a thread reporting on the press conference before every game, this is it, if you don't like it don't post on it. Clown shoe.
Someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning, you'd think it was a Monday morning. I was pulling your leg, chill.
Nikica Jelavic is a fitness concern ahead of the Tigers’ trip to Manchester City this weekend. Although Jelavic made a return from a knee problem against Newcastle United last Saturday, manager Steve Bruce admits the striker is still feeling the effects of the injury. “There’s a doubt about Jelavic with his knee,” admitted Bruce. “He’s still feeling the effects of the operation he had on it and so we’ll have to see how he is. “But everybody else will be better for the game last week – people like Dawson, Robertson and Ramirez.” Deadline day signing Dame N’Doye appears unlikely to be involved at the Etihad Stadium with the Tigers awaiting clearance from the authorities, although the Senegalese striker should be available for the visit of Aston Villa on Tuesday night. “We need clearance from the Russian FA for Dame and we know the English FA has been in touch with them,” added Bruce. “I would think there will be a great chance of him being available for Tuesday against Villa, but it’s difficult to see him playing this Saturday. He’s still in Paris.” Bruce remains without James Chester (shoulder), Mohamed Diame (knee), Liam Rosenior (hamstring) and Robert Snodgrass (knee). http://www.hullcitytigers.com/news/article/team-news-2251266.aspx#5G5L2yLqoGhPjCBD.99
Exactly what I said. The players were rushed back against Newcastle. I guess that makes him less likely to feature against our relegation rivals.
I don't think Hernandez looked right either, I mean one minute they were a few weeks away next thing we knew they were starting the Newcastle game. Surely if they were ahead of schedule we would of been better leaving them out of Newcastle, and then playing them against Man City is pointless because we'll lose either way, so they could of had an extra couple of weeks rest to be fit and ready to go for the two huge home games against Villa and QPR. Jelavic played a full 90 for **** sake, and now look he's gonna be a doubt for the Villa game and will probably play 50% fit and start up front.
He did it with Brady last season? Brought him back too early and then he ended up being out for longer.
It's not up for debate, he did bring Brady back too early last season, he admitted it himself afterwards that it was a mistake.
