Well it's no secret that Craig would like to come back here, thats never been the problem.
And it was documented that he would have talks which seem to be happening now.
Still think there might be a bit of mileage left on this, we are really still in the same position.
Question is can a deal be struck considering what Mancinis attitude was towards loaning out these now fringe players.

But Bellamy is certainly the right type of person to get this one home if it can be done.

Apparently the reason we haven't spent much of the large transfer budget is because we are going to use it on Bellers! This would be mega exciting :) I thought we would finish top 10 with the squad we have now...chuck Bellers in and we have to go for promotion again!

Well I don't see us buying him and then being able to pay his wages, so it has to be a loan with a larger chunk of the wages being paid by us than the last time.
Definitely a deal to be done, just getting to that area where it's palatable to both partys.

The above would be the sort of level of excitement I really don't dare to let myself feel! ;)

The longer it goes on the more likely we are to get him.

bellamy can sort it out him self if he really wants to come to cardiff, take a considerable pay cut from his £85,000/week. man city wont pay most of his wages again and why should they. ..who's fault is it bellamys or man city. get your so called billionaire owners to cough up the £4 million man city wants for him, if bellamy wants to keep his £85,000/week pay packet then he dont want to come to cardiff like you think he does. its all down to bellamy he cant have it all ways....

For a 31 year old, top class but injury prone player who has just had a season in the Championship I'd pay no more than £2m :)

bells needs to get real and until he takes a massive wage cut then its stalemate, what would you do in his shoes, receive £85,000/week for the next two years or lose £50,000+/week and join cardiff, i know what i would do just like everyone else.....i would see out my contract with man city unless someone is willing to pay the same wage.....

Heard a rumour Many City will meet City half way in regards to original asking price so fingers and everything else crossed.

I've a feeling this will come to pass.

MM spoke of varying his formation. 433 with Bellamy, Miller and Earnie up top anyone?

I can smell soiled defensive underpants all over the championship already.

On sky saying Man City need to let players go...that means a free for Bellamy then with no transfer fee we can afford to pay his wage.

This is looking good because with a few weeks left and a load of players to offload we are favourites to get him on our terms.

It is a pity that other clubs don`t have any players with class who want to play for them in their prime but that is not our problem.

Anybody who thinks Bellamy coming back to Cardiff isn't the absolute best thing that could happen , needs their head read . Also , if Bellamy can manage a deal away from Manchester City to Cardiff , he'll make sure wages aren't an issue , if they were he would be going elsewhere .. Sorry to bother , but if I did , yippie yo-yo !!

If we get Bellers would he permanently retire from international football? As prudent as the Malay contingent are I can't see them being comfortable allowing Bellers to play internationals if it affects his club commitments.
