The mancs have taken the lead, but this probably not an indication of how Cardiff are going to do for the rest of the season. More like what Man City will be like. In just 18 minutes they have 5 shots with 3 on target. Over 90 minutes it could 25 shots and 18 on target and what is frightening is they are doing this consistently no matter who the opposition is, this Man City team is scary!!
Well done to Cardiff, after that goal they have managed to make City take shots that miss the target. Let's see if they can keep it up, it will be one of a result even if they lose 2-1 because almost nobody does that these days at the Etihad!!
We were home, but in December we also played them away and then they did do it to us. They hammered us with lethal consequences at the Etihad.
Marshal almost saved that one , he's made several good saves already .I think Silva handled the ball on his goal.
Regardless they have 8 shots and 5 on target. I wood say their attack is on par with Barca and Real, how are teams like us and Cardiff meant to contain that? We did really well at the Liberty and they still beat us 3-2
With a lot of help from our defence. Also, didn't we have more possession, more passes and more shots? They are still a great, great team though.
cracking game on s4c Aberystwyth 2 v Bangor 1 at thew mo. And Man c should do us a favour today hopefully.
Seems there's a bit of a problem in the away end . . . https://twitter.com/Etihad_Stadium/status/424563241042575360
Cardiff bottom, with Swans only 3 points away. It's getting very close at the bottom. Think most teams down there will lose today and I have a feeling we'll win, so could look much better end of tomorrow.
Indeed we did but there attack is like a battering ram, they just score more than you sort of thing. In a way, if we ignore the whole money thing, I suppose we should be grateful to be able to say to our grandchildren that we saw a team that scored 100 goals half way through a season. We won't see that many times in our life.
4-2 at the end. Have to admire Cardiff's work ethic, imo, in team terms, far superior to ours. Noone had a great game as well. He defended and ran at defenders all game, the way I've been crying out for our wingers to do. He did it for 90 minutes as well.
