Realistically when we go to Chelsea/ Arsenal/ Man City/ Man U/ Liverpool the same will probably happen to us... I'm not looking forward to seeing Aguero Vs Barnett or Silva Vs Tierney when our turn comes around!
More than likely starting the weekend after next Sounds like Swansea put up a good performance in the first half especially their keeper Maybe Barnett will have Torres and co in his back pocket though!
Must admit, the prospect of the away games to the big spenders at the top does frighten me some. We (along with QPR & Swansea) are likely to take one or two hidings this season.
I say **** It! Let's have a go and cause some upsets We're Norwich City 2.0 and we don't take **** from anyone! Let's teach ManU what fergie time really is!
Im withy beefy on that. We have nothing to lose from those games. Might as well just go for it. Its 11 v11 at the end of the day.
We will get a few surprises this season for sure, Man city have spent in excess of 190mil so you would expect these kind of scorelines. We have cleared all debt and are still buzzing from the last two seasons so its better to try and play our style and get beat sometimes than go into every game crapping ourselves with 11 men behind the ball.
Agree, trying not to lose a game by defending deeply will backfire badly, going out to try and win the game with the necessary caution. Although, I do like the idea of pilkington, bennett, fox, and probably johsnon with hoolahan playing off holt or morison for those games against the top 5 or 6 teams. A stronger central midfield but with three creative players pulling teams out of shape with the two pacey wingers
