I have heard a lot of rumours over the past couple of days about Florent Malouda to Stoke(new favourites) for 7million, not sure if its true but lots of people are talking about it. Not sure if he would come to us over PSG if ancelotti came in for him.

    WOW!!!!!!

I think even the most optimistic of Stoke fan would find this hard to believe! He would be fantastic for us, but how would we afford his wages on our structure and surely there would be higher status clubs than us in the running?

Yeah like i said PSG, with all their money. Can't see it happening to be honest though, sadly.

I'll probably get shot down for this, but I wouldn't want him.

Wrong side of 30 (he's 31), astronomical wage demands which would break the structure of the club, and to be honest he's been average for Chelsea this season and hasn't got the pace Pulis likes with wide men.

The last thing we need is another player over 30, so I'd rather go for a younger Championship player or someone from abroad who has his best years ahead of him, rather than behind him. We do need cover in that position, though.

Stand by Jose -- I agree with you!!!

    Plus, the real choice:

Paris in Springtime or Hanley (no disrespect to Hanley but......)

Hanley any day - imagine how much stuff Malouda could buy with his wages from all the £1 shops!

    A little lat but..
I told you last week fella's <whistle> tis the same player I was told we're looking at. If not permanent then we would look at a loan deal until the end of the season.

That is why I said.. I HOPE whoever told me is right. He's just what we need and regardless of age, his lack of pace now. He is way above anyone we have at the minute.

Crouch is same age approx? so, IF we did get him, the guy is class and he did murder us last season at home if I remember correctly. Without checking, Didn't he score at our place that day?
