Unless you can actually back it up with proof keep quiet. We are going through tough times and are all under a lot of stress, tripe like this just causes undue stress and headaches.
What we haven't said is that we will not consider an approach from a Championship club. Until I read that, I will consider the rumours to be a small but realistic possibility.
Never mind Dan, better twice than not at all. I agree that some people are just jumping on anything that someone has dreamt up and treating it as fact.
I really can't see Cardiff going for MM, as they have well-documented financial problems and there are cheaper alternatives, like Chris Hughton, who have successfully achieved promotion. Norwich was the biggest threat, West Ham was a possibility...
Watford FC have issued a statement denying that they haven't received an official approach for MM. Looks like he's defo going then!!!!!
I did say apparently after reading on a few other sources. I pray I'm wrong and have been sucked in by the written rumours. I want MM to stay.
The statement on the official site seems quite carefully worded, no 'official approaches' that doesn't rule out unofficial/discreet sounding outs. Also, it is hardly a clear 'hands off' - no ' he is under contract and we would not welcome any approaches'
