Actually what I really mean is that today's result for me ends my problem with him. He failed big time - 5 less points than they got last year; less than the previous year too. Yep they got to a cup final - but did not win

Next season we can meet them on fair terms with both clubs able to prepare for a season without the disruption of losing the manager in the preparation. SD will prove long term better than MM in my book.

I doubt Cardiff will sack him this year but he now must know he is on borrowed time

He looked suitably chastened just now on SSN - but "proud of his team" yet blaming the lack of depth in his squad - conveniently forgetting to mention that he was the one who assembled it.

Agreed, it's time to move on - just hope that we don't have to direct our anger at another team next season for stripping us of our assets.

What I find interesting is the pundits view of MM as being a new messiah in waiting - Ok, he got to a cup final, but he has not improved Cardiff this season one jot. So why are they bigging him up so much? Probably because he is quite media friendly and easy on the eye - well good, I hope it continues. It means one of the clubs coming down might start sniffing around him...

It's time to stop actively looking for Cardiff to fail because Malky happens to be there.

But do I want him to do well with them? No - I'd prefer that he learns the lesson Rodgers learned, and then go on to be successful. He's a good young manager, but he left here too soon, and was not ready to take a club previously managed by someone as capable as Dave Jones to the next level. Do I think he realises that yet? Not off the back of this season.

Would you trade a losing legue cup final appearance for promotion - I doubt it - your tag line says it all TOP 2 Divisions since 1998 - and that includes Premierships

Glad to hear that those of you who have wasted energy worrying about whether MM will be successful or not can relax a bit now...

In a recent interview SD said that we the fans only know about 25% of what goes on in the club. I cannot blame MM for looking at a club that might hit the buffers anytime and taking a job that seemed to offer more security. What I didn't like however was him using his inside knowledge to strip the club almost bare.

If SD had a squad of players left at the begining of the season who could have performed as they did in the second half, then who knows it could have been us instead of Carduff in the play offs.

Yes, let it go now, we will still be more than willing to turn them over next season.

I have read that SD was taking in the game at Bournemouth last Saturday. I wonder who he had gone to watch.

I don't like him but... he's had a good season,m yes he had a wodge to spend but he had to build a team basically from scratch, cardiff before revolved around Bellend in my opinion. Next year will be interesting but lets concentrate on our own. Sordell going mid season should mean this will be the first transfer window for a while we're actually not needing to sell a crown jewel, season will probably see a sale at christmas, if mapps goes now for a decent figure we'll still be well ahead on the financial front and able to make some interesting moves. Lets see wilsons worth now... And please no shocks, Dyche must stay, the spine of the team must stay and pleae get McGinn sorted quickly could be a very interesting season..

    I hope not.

Graham Westley may be an absolute headcase, but he knows a good attitude when he sees it, and can turn that into a functional player almost regardless of talent. A player he feels isn't up for the fight is a player I don't want us to take a punt on.

I don't quite buy into this 'Anti Malky' mallarkey - all those who jumped ship to join him did so on their own accord and were not kidnapped. There was a lot of uncertainty within the club when Malky left so I would not be surprised if many more of the playing and backroom staff were on the phone to Cardiff this time last year.

I had a similar conversation with a mate just yesterday. I didn't want them to win yesterday, but now the season is over, I think it iss time to move on and MM is just another ex-Watford manager. I expect I will still look at Cardiff results and smile when they lose, but that is more about not really wanting them to do that great anyway!

As for Malky himself - I actually think he's done a pretty good job this season for them. They too lost a manager and had a much high player turnover than ourselves, so to get who he had playing and competing, I think he's done alright to have them up there all season. He just never had a squad, only really a first 11, so trailed off again - sounds a little familiar!

Again, i repeat i was not angry at him taking the players and staff, i am not annoyed that he then came back snooping for Marv and no doubt others. I am annoyed that he never once thanked the club who gave him his first managers contract, that gave him his last playing contract, that basically gave him everything. When we signed him he was out of a contract having been told he was not needed when his club had been promoted and had not seen premiership football. We then took him on and gave him that chance. Then when he retired we gave him a coaching job and then eventually the top job. Yet he walks over to cardiff but never once says thank you to us.

I use this analogy, imagine your children leave home at 21 having not paid rent, been fed, watered and clothed. But they just leave home, taking everything you bought them and does not say thank you. Would you not be annoyed and let down?? well thats how i feel.
