    Means that Diakite will be away for a while longer. Hopefully Taraabt and Traore will be back asap.

    Dunno - but as long as Diakite ain't injured, care even less. Hope he's not picked for Sunday's quarter final against Gabon and that the co-hosts win.

    As far as the soon to be twice monthly African Cup of Nothing is concerned, I think the European clubs will be having a word with FIFA soon. I really hope the game develops in Africa, and Ghana were great in the last World Cup, but the frequency of this tournament is insane and will put clubs off African players. It also looks unsustainable- last nights two critical group games played in front of stadiums 25% full at best.
    I caught Diakite's name once on the highlights last night, over hitting a cross.........
