I watched a documentary of him earlier and he mentioned that he had a trial with us when Ron Atkinson was our manager at the time.

How good was he ?

Can't remember him. Either Alzheimer's or he was not very good...

 

I remember him playing for Newcastle. As I recall he had to retire due to injury.

 

he use to play for Norwich.

 

He was never at Arsenal unless he had a trial there.I remember him at Norwich

 

The name doesn't ring any bells with me. But going back to days of big Ron, there wasn't the coverage on the internet in thise days, and the papers didn't cover
minor new stories, except maybe the MEN

He played for Watford for a few years. Decent enough player but he got frozen out when Dave Bassett took us over and decided small, tricky players were a luxury and flooded the team with legends of the game such as Glynn Hodges and Gary Chivers.
