www.skysports.com St Etienne have completed the signing of Sunderland midfielder Steed Malbranque. The 31-year-old was a huge fans' favourite following his arrival from Tottenham in 2008. Malbranque has been allowed to move by Steve Bruce, who has brought in no less than nine players this summer. St Etienne confirmed the deal on their website, revealing he had penned a two-year deal. The transfer means Malbranque returns to France for the first time since leaving Lyon in 2001 when he joined Fulham. Tidied by Dorset
sub at best as good as he is, unlike barton and nolan and soon to be enrique, possibly jonas to follow, bloody hell that's scary when you're replacing them with unknown frenchies, not having a pop marra but i'd be worried if i were you
Steeeeed. One last time. Jimmy Milner. Pwned. http://vodpod.com/watch/4351726-steed-malbranque-nutmegs-james-milner
LOL, Good luck Steed, you were class but could not hit a cows arse with a banjo. Hopefully get a proper left winger now.
Steed was a good servant for the club but with him being the top earner at the club and entering the last year of his contract I think we have done great business in moving him on. If he had stayed he would of only been a bit part player but it seems a good deal for all concerned We free up space to bring in a left winger we are craving for Steed moves on to a ne challenge were I would imagine he will be a regular Good luck to the fella
A class act, I'll be sad to see him go. Skillfull as fook, fair enough perhaps his end product could have been better at times but still a pleasure to watch him with the ball stuck to his feet. Chimbonda, Tanio or Steeeeed .... hmm wonder who ended up as the crowd favourite there?!!
