    First the sale of Nolan.
    Now the expected sale of Barton.

    Whilst looking bad in real life on football manager these are always my first two players to go! Nolan usually for a small fee and then Barton usually sits in the reserves.

    Who else here gets rid of these two first??

    Sold Nolan on Fifa, Barton didn't bring anything to the squad so I stuck him on the bench.
    I always used to sell Ameobi first, but I just send him into the reserves as I love the fellah.
    It's Smith who I get rid of these days though.

    I sell Nolan and torture Smith until he accepts mutual termination as no one will buy him. Generally keep Joey for a season then replace him with a cheaper option, same with Coloccini.

    Has anyone else had trouble renewing Tiote's contract on FM. He's been reject a work permit three times now <wah>.

    I resorted to giving him his correct 6 year contract using FMRTE. Would do it properly with the editor but doubt I'll be starting a new game on it any time soon.

    They all get listed for me straight away but, unlike in real life, it's impossible to get rid of them because of their wages. Plus fm isn't quite up to date where the player has the option to go on twitter and be a total bell end!

    You cheat :D. I wasn't so bother with my first NUFC save as he was 3rd choice DM, so I just sold him. But I started a new one with the 11.3 database and he is integral to my team ATM.

    I didn't start the save until after he'd signed the contract, but I find he's pretty ineffective as a DM on FM. I tended to have Barton DM, and Tioté box to box. Forgot who I had as adv playmaker...

    You can generally give Tiote an extension straight away but if you wait a season you're ****ed!
