If this is true then I feel we have a right to be a little bit aggrieved for the 3.5 million transfer of DG.

Seems like Southampton Academy are pretty good at selling players to Wenger with Walcott etc

 

Clearly it means that Chamberlain is twelve times as good as Will Buckley.

Or that Southampton have a negotiator twelve times as good as ours.

Or something in the middle.

 

I have to say though, Arsenal could surely have signed a top quality centre back for £12m?

 

Or a GK for that matter...

 

Arsenal aren't allowed to sign anyone over the age of 15 though are they?

In reality Wenger ough to actually spend money on experienced proven quality but then his job is safe so probably doesn't care.
