The truth of the matter is I quoted some facts on a Cardiff City thread, for the benefit of Cardiff City fans, you made it your business to come on the thread and accused me of making up the facts and lying about them. I then cut and pasted the article from The Guardian which was my source (the facts, mentioned in the article actually came to pass i.e. Vibcent Tan joining the CCFC board) I then quite reasonably suggested you might apologise for calling me a liar, I pointed out several threads where I had been proved wrong and subsequently apologised, you point blank refused to apologise, I said that it took courage and moral fibre to behave in an adult manner and apologise when you are proved wrong, you consistently refused to do this, so I pointed out that someone who lacks courage is a coward. You then completely lost the plot, and compared me to Joseph Goebbels the Nazi propaganda minister, I pointed out that comparing people to infamous senior members of the evil Nazi regime went beyond normal banter. I also mentioned that I found it particularly offensive as I have Jewish heritage, and that my Jewish grandmother on my mothers side only just got out of Germany in time, (my grandfather was British and worked in the British Consulate in Hamburg) but her parents and several members of her family weren't so lucky and disappeared in the Holocaust. You the accused me of being a liar again, and making this up, to try and take the moral high ground. A Swansea fan, who is an old mate and has known me well for nearly thirty years vouched for the veracity of this, which you conveniently chose to ignore. I then suggested that we met up face to face to discuss this over a drink in an adult manner, this olive branch was refused, you have preferred to stay hidden behind your keyboard, and have consistently continued to make veiled Nazi references, I freely admit I have called you a coward on many occasions, and I still think you are a coward. You have accused me of being a liar on many occasions, but have yet to provide a scrap of evidence to support this. A lot of the "old hands" on here will probably agree that this is a true version of the facts, I admit that I may well have gone over the top in my reaction to some of your more insulting posts, but I refuse to put up with the vile inferences in a lot of your posts, and I don't see why I should. I start, and join in some bantering posts that happen between Cardiff and Swansea fans, it gets a bit heated sometimes, but I tend to treat people in the way that they treat me, as to my "dozens" of bans from 606..........well 99% of these have been because some people (no proof of identity, so no accusations being leveled) complained to the old BBC mods which resulted in my account being cancelled, I appealed against this, and my account was re-instated on more than one occasion, I never resorted to complaining to the mods, preferring to fight my corner, which also has led to me falling foul of the mods in the past. I refuse to be bullied or browbeaten and insulted by anyone, and I refuse to apologise for this. As for me being one of the "most hated and reviled posters on 606" well that is your opinion and you are entitled to it, however I have met up in "real life" with several members of the CCFC forum, and with posters from other sites, and have had no problems with them, have they had a problem with me? Well you'd have to as them, but I don't think so. I think this a true and fair version of the reason for this spat, I will leave this up for people to make their own minds up, if you continue to make your Nazi cracks I will continue to refer to your cowardly behaviour. Though the more I think about it, the more I am starting to realise you are just sad and sick, after all saying you are a coward implies that you are aware of your actions and the consequences of those actions, and have taken a reasoned and rational decision on how to react. This is very probably not the case in this instance, as you appear to be incapable of reasoned rational thought. I don't like you, but my opinion will mean nothing to you, but I don't care, I don't hate you, you are not worthy of such strong emotions.........my overwhelming feeling is pity, you obviously have issues which you have problems dealing with. I know you are going to deny this, and frankly I don't care........the facts (or as you will doubtless say my version of them) are up there for all to see, post your version if you disagree with them, and let people make up their own minds, I'm confident that my version is true and fair, and it would be interesting to see youir slant on things, but remember before you drift off into your fantasy world that there are people on here who have been in on this spat from the start, nature has already made a fool out of you, so tell the truth and don't compound on natures work. Certainly well respected Prophet on the boards with interesting and enjoyable articles and comments i can also stand testament and vouch for other board members and myself in saying very well respected when we have meet up in the flesh .
Proph, i will put this down as i wrote a thread on here, most of what you convey on this board has become true " the mole pumping " threads were a great source of optimism in a ocean of negativity back in old 606 days. vetchachicken is not worth the time or effort he is a sad individual who has to get his kicks by trying to bully people on here as you said he is to be pitied not hated
VETCH is very rarely knee-jerk (unlike you Proph ), and always posts in a considered manner designed to hurt his target. His comments are rarely about this game of football itself, he prefers to "board-lurk" waiting for the chance to have a go at someone else's comment. The air of superiority he oozes is sickening. I've never met you Proph, but get the impression that you are genuine and passionate supporter of our club to the point that it becomes personal. Though I'm equally passionate, this is not just a club thing for me as I regard the forum boards as just a means to exchange views and above all, have a good laugh with each other. Just keep doing what you're doing and you'll continue to be well-respected on here. The problem with VETCH is that he sees the forum as a crusade and his vindictiveness towards you and to a lesser extent, a few others is all to plain to see. Proph - keep your chin up pal, don't let the bastards grind you down.
Proph lets be honest neither you or Vetch cover yourselves in any glory with this ongoing argument. Im all for a bit of banter and most of us post things maybe we shouldnt. The dispute between the 2 of you makes you both look like little children. Maybe you should just pm each other , though I doubt he will allow you to do that. You certainly aint despised. You are one of the best posters on Cardiff City Messageboards. But this petty argument drags you down. Hes not going to meet you. Hilts you are right and the voice of reason I should let this go, and this would be the sensible and adult thing to do, however, and I'm aware of this I have criticised this person for being childish, (and I am equally guilty) but if I give this up, this twisted sad individual will regard it as a victory, I'm not prepared to let this happen, pathetic probably, childish definitely, should I rise above it? Good points from Hilts and I agree with them. However, I also fully agree with Prophs view as I am the same when it comes to fighting my corner. I will never back down unless I am proven wrong. I can admit defeat and I will support someone fighting their corner if I believe them to be right. Proph has stated facts and made requests of this Vetchetarian fella and the responses have been puerile and personal. Proph I generally ignore the likes of vetchetarian and encourage you to leave it now as you clearly have the higher moral ground and anything this individual posts in future will only serve to highlight his inadequacies and lack of social interaction.

I honestly believe in the saying "an eye for an eye makes the whole world blind" or something as the saying goes. Until someone stops and says you know what we need to fix this. Peace offering defiantly very grown up of you, and though we don't always get along proph with occasional banter that gets heated, I feel its important that anything that invokes this much emotion on both side needs to be sorted. has any body taken the time to ask vetch exactly what it is that's caused him to say such things? proving each other wrong won't really apply here as its way past that point, feel just need to try figure out another way to bring both side to talking terms. Sounds like Dr phil, but if vetch if your reading this, take the time to just explain your side, and I honestly think as soon as you've explained your side, just as Proph has, you'll come to an understanding, and hopefully be able to both put this to rest finally. Can't be healthy to drag this along for so long, and you don't have to worry about biased views etc, as you may know both jacks, and blue birdies alike want this to finally be resolved. if it takes an intermediary then I'm sure there plenty of level headed people who willing to serve the purpose. here's hoping it gets resolved
