    to be fair, everyone has buzzed off carr's other recommendations, why should you get annoyed at us going for maiga who we have been in the hunt for for ages because some frog journo doesn't rate him???

    some really negative ppl on here just love to whine and moan

    Hmm, interesting. Sky've changed their article from earlier, because previously it made a point of mentioning that. How strange.

    On the Maiga side of things, people say he had 1 good season but the fact is he didn't - he scored 15 goals for Le Mans before he joined Sochaux. To my mind that's the mark of a consistent goalscorer. He's young and clearly good at adapting - I would be delighted if we got him.

    But 14 in 36 last season... he's only 23, shows he's improving and scoring more consistently. Plus remember Le Mans got relegated - it's hard to score lots of goals in a crap team.
