    Feel sorry for Danny as an ex-Gills player but credit must go to Maidstone for fighting all the way to the end. I do however predict they will struggle next season given the budgets of some of the teams in the National League (around 11 (Figure may be slightly wrong) of which have been in the Football League since the turn of the century)

    Would be nice to see them carry on forward, but would have to agree with patchy, a few season of just staying in the league would be a success for them.

    I think Maidstone will do ok,a club on the up with bigger support than quite a few in that league.We have seen Football league clubs not fancying playing on their 3G pitch.
