Just think that we signed Vardy and Mahrez for a combined £1.4 mill. How much would we get for the two now? I'd say we could 'hold out' for at least £25 mill each (contract lengths, no need to sell, international appearances etc). Let's say we got close to £50 mill if we sold them, that would be stunning business. Not that we need to sell and we shouldn't

Wouldn't want to sell either ... let's face it, we are currently in Wonderland in terms of the quality in our squad ... the way they combined after Mahrez came on at St Marys' was sublime .. if only Vards had converted that pull-back from Mahrez around the 80th minute mark - that would have had to be a contenter for Goal OF The Month given the build-up ...

Currently I just can't wait for the games to come around - this team is very exciting.

The only depressing thing is that it puts into real perspective some of the crap I've had to endure over the years <laugh> ...

Surely it just makes times like these all the sweeter <ok>

Although i wouldn't sell either, i wouldnt begrudge either a move away if the price is right.

Mahrez i think will be more likely to want to move up the league to a bigger club in europe, but i don't think anyone will pay what we'd want for Vardy due to his age.

Absolutely love the not-so-sly dig at Forest.

Still can't believe this guy plays for us, he's an absolute delight to watch. Bearing in mind I'm pretty young, he's the most exciting player I've seen play for Leicester City.

Have posted my thoughts on him on another thread ... forget being young - he's the most naturally gifted footballer I've seen at the club since the legend that was Franky Wortho'...

.... although Norman Leet and Gary Coatsworth both deserve a mention <whistle> <laugh>
