Incredible. Still feels like a dream, never thought a Leicester player would be player of the year in the Premier League. Vardy and Kane are obviously great strikers, but Mahrez has those stats from midfield, he's the life and soul of this team.
So is Riyad Mahrez the best player to ever pull on a Leicester shirt? Everytime he gets the ball you think anything is possible and Mahrez gets you on the edge of your seat, in my time of watching Leicester no one has ever be able to do that. Anthony Knockaert was the closest but he was too inconsistent and that was in the Championship
Lenny Glover, Keith Weller, Laurie Cunningham and Steve Lynex were all better wide players than Knockaet IMHO ... Mahrez is by far and away the best and I'd say the most skillfull player we have ever had in the shirt ... Frank Worthington was a very special player too ... but Mahrez gets my vote ...
