If they defend like they did yesterday then we've got a chance, providing we learn how to pass the ball forward
It is funny how the police are supposed to have the final say when a match kicks off but apperently the F A are in charge, and it will not be televised thank god because it will be another 5-1 humiliation most likely, and i wont even bother listening to commentry either. How MON is still in charge defies logic, act now before it is too late, but looks like we have another Murray at the club.
They will roll over like Bruce's team did, and in the next few games we are going to get a hiding i am afraid. And people say our goal difference is better than most around us but not for long, 0-3 against Man u, 0-4 at Chelsea 0-1 at Villa, 0-3 at Spurs. We might win one game between Stoke or Soton and scrape to 37 points some how, but that might not be enough as the great escape teams Villa and Wigan could finish above us. I reckon it will go down to the Soton game our last game at home, where we have lost all 5 previous premier last home games!.
I don't know why u r all so negative I see a shaky game and a draw which I think both sets of fans would take.
No wins in 7 and 2 draws in those 7 (bottom of the current form table) and with Man Utd, Chelsea, you and Everton our next 4 games? Is it any wonder we are ****ting bricks about the derby?
Fair enough, but I don't think the derby games rely much on form the pressure of the game, the decisions like pens, red cards etc on the day normally decide the game rather than the form both teams are in at the time. We will also be coming off the back of the Benfica game on Thursday night so I reckon it's much more in the balance than every1 is making out. A lot can happen between now and then as we have seen this season.
According to a number of sites (NUFC ones) it's still on sky - they have moved the Man Utd game to kick off at 14:05 so they will probably show all 3 games although Sky haven't confirmed it yet
@OfficialSunderland on twitter have confirmed its still going to be shown on sky. I live next to plastic mags though so don't want to watch it at home
Man u will probably have won the title before then anyway!, so the derby will be more important for sky tv. I go for 2-2 and we both stay up.
You feeling OK monty - that's the most positive thing I've seen from you in ages!! Wish I had your optimism about staying up - I see the derby being blood and thunder and a close game!
