This could be a possiblity if the mindless keep on going! How much pressure would this put on to the players? Or could (should be) it be used to get them going! It would make me a bit more nervous as the piverpool game gives the lads more game time and more importantly a very competitive match under their belts, as pre season seemed to run out of steam a bit in the latter stages if get going at all. Thoughts?
mmmm i would be all for that to be honest, first game of the season at home, full house, team well up for it!! sounds good to me.
Oh right, with you now. Sorry, just done an 11 hour night shift. Don't think it will affect us like but if Carlsberg did postponments..................
I think it would be fantastic - has it ever happened before for any of the major derbys? Had a quick look but can`t see anything. We might even get shown early on MOTD!
Only if all other games are cancelled and i mean all Having said that they would probably cancel Match of the day and show our game on Sundays edition. Last of course
I think Newcastle and Sunderland both need at least one good EPL game before the derby. Pre-season is all well and good, but imo it's only actual EPL games where the players really sharpen up their act and start to gel together.
I have to agree with you on this Chappaz. We want both teams playing well for the derby game. After all, it's the showpiece of NE football and I'm sure that we all want it to be a cracker!
Well we've got several not, while your lot has been buying Renee and Ranatro, and Sacha Distel, don't worry about us. Pepe le pew squad.
Some of our players need time to gel AND get used to the EPL, but your new batch of players still need time to gel together and form an understanding no matter how long they've been around in the EPL. In fact, that makes me think: ----------------Krul--------------- - Simpson - Taylor - Colo - Enrique - - Barton - Cabaye - Tiote - Jonas - ------------Ba -- Ameobi --------- That'll probably be our squad against you lot, so the only person to really need to get used to the EPL is Cabaye. The rest already know what to expect. They've been there, done it and they're ready. I wouldn't be so quick to assume that we're just going to be a bunch of frogs running around who haven't learned to handle the EPL yet
We'll see, doubt if that will be your team though. still reckon your rabble is more worried about it than us this this year.
