Mags embarrassing themselves yet again

I’ll raise you - in one shop last week woman 70’s wider than tall , shirt , shorts — and socks . Hats off to the manufacturer if they produce that size - sure you would get all the mags back four stood in that pair of shorts

 

True story. Me and the Mrs. went to Corfu a few years ago. In the seat in front of me was a big bloke with a Sunderland shirt on, and on his neck was a tattoo that said “Made in Sunderland”. He asked the stewardess for a drink and she said jokingly “I shouldn’t serve you with that shirt on!” He pointed up to the overhead locker and said “It’s ok, I’ve got a black and white one in there”.
Sure enough, a couple of weeks later on the flight home, he had a Newcastle shirt on.
Believe it or not, It’s true.

 

Not a chance I believe that! The air stewardess would be sick to death of her own ****e jokes if she said that to everyone she saw in a shirt!

Bit like I'm dragons den for that reason I'm out!

I'm hoping it's a sign that the Saudis are pulling the plug, rumours are they're looking into spurs. Will be superb if true

 

Ah, hadn't thought of that, one can only hope.
Staveley had a reputation as a deal maker iirc so therefore assumed that this was in effect her fee for setting up the takeover and that she will now move on to other things.

That would be madness, I'd love to see it but it like.

Everything I think about why they wouldn't possiblely do that goes back to something that isn't a Saudi worry, money!

No one would buy them for price they would need, wouldn't spend all that cash to then walk away etc... at end of the day they are so rich none of that would matter if they found something else they wanted!

 

I'm in two minds whether id want the Saudi's to pull the plug. Considering their current owners I'm quite content in not caring about them too much. If selling, the Saudi's will have basically left NUFC on a more than sound financial footing. If they were to sell them to a 'good' rich owner i'd then again start caring and worrying about them winning something. They would once again become the club that I'd always known and hated. I'm not sure which I prefer.

 

I would have thought that with spurs Jewish links, being bought by the Saudi’s would be a none starter.
