Good ta How are you ? Sorry I can't see your full message, it's been moderated I'll pop on the warm glow thread if you want to take the pìss out of me. Hang on whilst I get me hazmat suit on before garn over the toon
I don't think it was moderated... just thought I'd pop over and see how things are going. I've always made an effort with charities and that's how I see Sunderlands situation now. It was always going to be one of our clubs that lost in the end.
These 2 transfer deals the Saudis have done are dodgy as **** - £70m for 2 lads who've rarely played. I'd be checking the bank accounts to see just where the money came from to allow Forest and Brighton to spend that sort of money. Offshore accounts need checking
The Mags look like they're being left behind by the big clubs, I wonder which agenda they'll blame for this. Spurs have a fantastic stadium, Arsenal have a big modern one, Anfield and Old Trafford are being extended/improved/renovated ... ... meanwhile Newcastle are stuck in a cranky old stadium that needs serious structural repairs, has poor facilities and can't be changed much. Not even that, they don't even own the ground so couldn't sell it to help with a move, plus they'd have to pay for demolition and clearance. So they'll have to stick to the line that it's a source of pride, a national treasure and a Cathedral on a Hll. In truth it's just a creaking lopsided old stadium on a slight incline https://www.mancity.com/news/club/etihad-stadium-north-stand-expansion-summer-update-63852668 The £300 million expansion of the Manchester City Football Club stadium is starting to take shape with the core of the hotel now in place. The project will increase capacity at the stadium to more than 60,000 and a new 3000-capacity fan zone, club shop, hotel and museum will establish Manchester City’s matchday experience as one of the best in world sport.
I think they've realised what Shortv did ... ... there's more to running a successful club than hoying money at it. Newcastle are way behind Man City and may never catch up.
I’m ‘home’ in South Shields for a few weeks. Went to China town in Newcastle at the weekend for dinner. It’s been many years since I was that close to SJP. What a grimy dump it is. I must admit it took me by surprise. Happy surprise
The approach and area under the away end is gruesome. The hospitality facilities are good but the concourses for the ordinary supporters is grim. Have a good time at 'home' mate
Let's hope he's wearing it if he ever goes to A&E with a Mackem ambulance driver ... ... 'Bit of a diversion mate, just had to go via Carlisle'
Sat in Durham city centre two women 30ish walked past one with mag top shorts and tattoos on her legs real class. Saw them a while later she had tats on her neck also
