They really are sad bastards!
They were already unbearable, then the allegedly murderous Saudis took over and it went up notch with the whole "richest team in the world" where they all came out the woodwork after years "not going to watch that ****e"
Going to be ****ing unbearably unbearable if they win the ****ing thing
I can honestly say it won’t bother me one bit, don’t know about the others on here though.
I'd have been gutted when they had local owners of someone like Bobby Robson managing ...
... they're no different to Chelsea under Abramovich for me now.
I would have felt like hanging my self, it was a real club then but now it’s just like athletes taking drugs, they’ve won but they know they haven’t really. Really embarrassing mate.
Ive said it before. Any success from them now would mean nothing to me. Any failure will make me chuckle. Win/Win!
Newcastle under Keegan, owned by local businessman. Those days were horrendous, even though they won nowt. Them winning the Champions League every other season from now on would be nowt compared to the anguish of those days.
If they fluked a league cup under Ashley, that would have hurt me so much more than if they end up winning everything under the Saudi's. As a rivalry, they are gone.
Quite sickly to see people who appeared to have no interest in football at all , let alone a team, are now giving the impression they are life long supporters.
Abramovich took the Chelsea support of him as if it was film star adoration, Stavely will be nauseous if they win it.
Irrelevant to me what a Saudi team does. Genuinely not interested any more. I cannot take them, City or PSG seriously. They are countries playing against towns and cities, it is absurd beyond all reason and is a very big turn off.
And by the way, there is nothing, "alleged" about the various atrocities with which the Saudis are linked. Not only do they not deny them, they boast about them.
Can't argue with that. Failure to win is now a real failure.
Still want the HOORS to get humped like.
There's no way they will win the champions league anytime soon, Chelsea and man City to an extent benefitted from having rich dodgy owners but there's a lot more bigger teams with better history that the top players will go to before them. They might fluke a national Cup some year and it won't be in 2023. Expectancy is on them and we all know they bottle the big games
Be awful if there was a train strike that weekend.
N/C are no longer our local Rivals.
The level playing field that was, no longer exists.
Their Rivals come from Manchester, Liverpool and London.
I can live with that,
Deleted. Wrong thread.
