http://www.sunderlandecho.com/sport...uidance-from-ex-sunderland-star-ben-1-6998660 KEEPER Jak Alnwick says he is ready for his big chance at Newcastle United â thanks to his brother, Ben. Alnwick will be in goal for Saturdayâs Premier League trip to face Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium with senior goalkeepers Tim Krul and Rob Elliot sidelined through injury. The 21-year-old came off the bench to make his debut in last weekendâs dramatic 2-1 win over Premier League leaders Chelsea. And Hexham-born Alnwick feels he is ready for a run in the Magpiesâ team, having previously played on loan for Gateshead. Ben, like his younger sibling, started his career at Sunderland and went on to join Tottenham. And Jak says the guidance he has had from the 27-year-old, now at League One club Peterborough United, has been invaluable to him in his fledgling career. âMy brotherâs been around a lot,â Alnwick said. âHeâs always said to me âbe readyâ, because when youâre at your lowest, you can get a chance. âA couple of weeks ago, I was number three goalkeeper and nowhere near the team, and a couple of weeks later Iâm coming on against Chelsea! âHeâs always got words of advice for me. âIâve looked up to him all my life. He made sure I was ready for games like this.â Alnwick won praised from Newcastle manager Alan Pardew for his performance against previously-unbeaten Chelsea. He came on for the second half after Elliot â who is not expected to return to fitness until the New Year â aggravated a thigh strain in taking a goal kick. And Alnwick, having got the better of former Atletico Madrid star Diego Costa, is no fazed by the prospect of taking on Arsenal. âIâm just going to prepare myself and take every game as it comes,â said Alnwick. âIâll be confident for the next game against Arsenal, and Iâll be prepared for it. âYouâve got to prepare exactly the same as you would normally. Itâs Arsenal, and itâs just another game for me. âIâve just got to go there and do exactly what I did (against Chelsea). âItâs going to be a tough game â we know that â but if we stick together as a team again we should be able to get a result.â ------------------------------- I wonder if Ben showed him the best way to spitroast!!
One gold star for anyone who can track down that sex tape with Alnwick Lawrence Woods and Chris Brown commentating

Haha, by far Ben's best performance whilst at Sunderland. The only time he looked confident in the box.
Taking advice from someone who ****ed it seems odd. Unless he said 'do exactly the opposite of what I did'. He was so highly rated, but to be fair, hoying a kid into a side losing every week probably did the most damage. Good luck to the brothers, even though it's them down the road I like to see young lads from the region step up.
