Ok I have only seen televised games so far (including a couple of foreign full game broadcasts btw) but is Magnussen a bit 'wayward' with his passing?
It seemed like most of the time we gave the ball away, he was involved - is that just unfortunate camera coverage, or is his control and distribution worse than Flints used to be? Or is it just me, misreading the game?

Magnusson is certainly the best passer at the club
He does give the ball away occasionally, but non more than anyone else.

He looks a sure-fire future Premiership defender to me

    This is a strange one.

I have heard him described as 'absolute litter' and then also "sure-fire future Premiership defender to me"

To me, he is somewhere in between, he's not concerning me when I see him play so he's alright by me, his distribution could improve though..

Really? I'm genuinely surprised at this, but as I said, I have only seen televised games so far.

Happy so far with Magnusson and think he'll get better with time.

It would be interesting to see his pass stats, but his passing in my opinion is .. Excellent. And he is not just keeping it very simple, he is consistently looking to play forward, and at ease taking the ball under pressure to move it from the back.

I like him, I always think he's about to lose possession then he calmly plays it out.

    Got something about him.

Barely wasted a ball yesterday. In comparison as somebody else said some of his teammates have a touch like a trampoline.
