Mafia III: Day 1

Morning cometh....

The sun rises gloriously over the distant horizon, a golden speck casting its gaze over the magnificent Oasis of the Seas. Our heroes woke up very majestically and cinema-esque from their slumber to find a delicious breakfast waiting for them in each of their cabins on their bedside tables. Bacon and eggs for DHCanary, waffles glazed with honey for El_Bando, cold pizza and a beer for MaxWhiplash. "Oooh yum," beamed Max, however his training meant instinctively to check foods other people serve you before you eat them, but his friends would always fail to see the point of doing so.

He sniffed both the pizza and the beer and could immediately tell that they were poisoned! It was a very easy to recognize, but not so easy to procure poison, so Max instinctively jumped out of bed and ran along the walkway banging on the doors of each cabin to tell the others, "Don't! Breakfast! Eat! Poisoned! Beer!" he would shout in a mixed jumble of words but they got the message. So distraught was he that didn't even notice EMSC in his bed surrounded by seven Schumacher blow-up dolls. He made it finally to the cabin at the end of the walkway thinking it was all okay.

"Paco!" he cried, as he saw Paco Montoya keeled over his face buried in his pancakes and whipped cream. The rest of the group gathered behind him as he pulled Paco's face out of the mushy breakfast. He was dead. They knew what the protocol was for this, no-one must know. They thought that this horror had ended ages ago, but they were wrong. Someone's trying to kill them again, they all unanimously agreed as they casually nudged Paco's body off the side of the ship and into the waters below...

- Sorry Paco Montoya, you can't post in this or subsequent day threads, on account of being dead. Feel free to rage beyond the grave in the discussion thread, but please don't say anything which indicates a potential killer. Dead people can't name names.

- Please note that nothing in the story is a true reflection of any individual player and should not be taken seriously with regards to voting.

 

This intro makes it look like Max has a set of skills needed to carry out the job at hand. Just saying...

I hear someone threw an almighty strop when he found out that his "Bacon and eggs" Breakfast was the Vegetarian friendly variety (Quorn Bacon with Powdered eggs!)
He must have been raging!

How did RR know that I love cold pizza and beer for breakfast?! Preferably unpoisoned though. Shame about Paco - RIP.

So... Unless I'm missing something it's a fairly blind guess, although would it be more likely to be someone who wasn't mentioned during RR's account of this morning's events?

 

Anyone here particularly dislike Montoya? Asking for no particular reason .......

 

We only know that my and Paco's breakfasts were poisoned, no? Or should we presume that they all were?

 

Paco was just eager to eat his whilst I was ****ing dolls.
