Undercover KGB operatives are attempting to cause an uprising and have the small country rejoin the Russian Federation. Meanwhile, Mafia opportunists are taking advantage of the unsettled political climate to try and establish their crime syndicate. Both factions are vying for supremacy over the townspeople. The town of Meijeria is ground zero for the conflict, and the town members have decided to lynch one person a day until all outside interference is eliminated. Rules Night will fall at 8pm (in the timezone of most users) that is 3pm EST (8pm Current British Summer Time; 7pm GMT) - if at all possible. (I reserve the right to delay ). Once you are dead you are to cease communication on this thread. With two exceptions: 1) You can post a "Argh I'm dead- screw you for killing me" thread- and you may communicate in a way that DOES NOT IMPACT HOW PEOPLE WILL VOTE. Each person gets one vote a day as to who they wish to lynch. They can change vote as often as possible. All Votes Must Be BOLD and phrased clearly. If there is a tie in the vote- I will flip a coin to determine who gets lynched. A threeway or more tie- I will use random.org to pick a random number to choose who will die. All requests for night time actions "investigations/assassinations/etc" must be submitted before nightfall. YOU MAY NOT- include any text or screenshots from PrivateMessagess - or from QuickTopic to prove your innocence. (or guilt if you're suicidal). This is a game. Don't get too upset with each other if they tear you apart. Interrogating each other- and fiery accusations are normal. YOU MAY BLUFF. That's part of the game. You can claim to have any role that you like, even if you don't. You may cast a "No Lynch" Vote. If you vote to not lynch anyone that night. This is different to not voting- and can "win the vote" in which case lynching is delay 24hrs. (night events still happen though). There have been forum problems where some people can't connect. The day will be considered compromised and extended an extra 24 hours if we fail to meet a quorum of 66% voting or posting on any given day. Update- if the game is still running this weekend, MITO may take over role of Host instead of me due to conflicts I have. (and since he is already dead this is safe) Winning Conditions For Town- all Mafia and KGB must be eliminated. For Mafia- Mafia wins when they have over 50% of the population left alive For KGB- KGB wins when they have over 50% of the population left alive. If population gets down to "2" - if one of the two people left is town, then whoever the other person is wins. Otherwise, if population gets down to "2" and one is KGB and the other is Mafia- then it is considered a tie between both KGB and Mafia - town still loses! Roles The Town Contains the Following Roles: (one of each) KGB Team: Lead Spy - Is invisible to investigation, will show up as "Town" Assassin - May make two kills (1 per night) Recruiter - May recruit ONE townie to join the KGB, but only if one of his teammates first dies. If he tries to recruit a member of the Mafia, the Mafia member will not be recruited, he will be killed instead. (it will use up the conversion though) Mafia: Same roles as KGB; however, Lead Spy is called "Godfather" instead Town: Journalist - Has one investigation each night. Will be told "Town" or "Not Town". In addition to this, the Journalist will send me a headline via PM. That headline will be posted to the forum at the start of the next day. If the Journalist is converted to KGB/Mafia they will lose the power to investigate but will continue to be able to supply headlines. Cop - Has one investigation each night. Will be told "Town", "Mafia", or "KGB". Will lose investigation power if converted to Mafia or KGB. Vigillante - Can kill TWO TIMES at night (only once per night, and not on first night) by supplying a PM to me with the name of who they want to kill. Vigilante loses ability to kill if converted to KGB or Mafia. Freemasons - There are TWO freemasons. Freemasons, like the Mafia and KGB have their own private discussion area. They know each other's name and know that each other are innocent (on day one at least). They may also elect a third free mason to join them. That third freemason will continue having any other powers they had before joining. It is possible that they elect a KGB or Mafia agent to join them. It is also possible that one of them gets converted to KGB or Mafia. In the event of this they will still be freemasons, but will no longer be aligned with the town. You did I was tempted to post on closed thread but thought greez would get in Also I want to unsticky, this doesn't need one Finally I said on the set up thread and I'll say here there are 4 groups 3 who can communicate and the rest who cannot. That means finding patterns is going to be tough so please have a decent reason based on actions to vote someone off not just words we can all talk ourselves into getting voted for It's 6 mafia we have to find so it's 6 v 8 right now, the mafia can kill each other off to but yes as a townie I feel it's close to 50/50 already so we need to get at least 2 and I'd perfer 3 in a tie by the end and I'd personally like to see some early action to at least see if someone reacts And not a revenge vote from the person you vote for is not proof IMO So let's get the fun going!

ok. so theres 15 now? is it swarbs?... our first utd fan.. .welcome welcome! So Greez my view is clear. If we even try that one vote astro dealio all that will happen is one or two vote twice and it falls apart and those one or two get singled out day 2 for frankly little reason. It is my view we are in the dark but there are 3 people on one mafia team who know who they are and 3 on another... plus 2 town as well. Those people can all work together or hide thier voting sneakily. I think that a) if we get 3 people up for vote MAYBE one mafia will be at risk. thats better than just killing one player at random. however it IS a free for all so my view is i'll be using my vote randomly to put a second or third person at risk and see what votes swap round. b) free for all allows more freedom, you do what you like... I'm in the dark so what i learned from watching the last game is moving your vote round is ok and if you hit one something someone might do something thats out of kilter. c) there are I think 3 things that can occur this round. 1. Mafia hit, 2 kgb hit. 3. lynching.... there will be no conversions unitl a mafia or kgb dies. SO...... we can see three people go. The maifa and kgb would be using thier powers randomly just like us..... other than they know they won't hit themselves. I feel it'd be best if we can at least TRY to get enough up for vote that when it comes to the last hour or two someone will try and influence.... it'll be hard to know what the f is going on.... but looking back on the next days it might lead to a clue so all in all my first vote will be......... probably random or revenge...
