Now then.. I sat in a pub in York and watched this game and Iv'e come home as proud as whatever.. Bardsley, Brown, Celuskia, Jack, Mannone you did me proud. Its a strange city York, they have no allegiance and seem to support whats the trend, ie Spuds, Man City, Utd, Liverpool or Arsenal, yeah quite a sad sack of ****. Give the yorkie bar makers their credit though, shook my hand at the end of the game, with their Man City tops on and credit to them for putting up with my gob and celebration.. An absolutely cracking result today, The Gus line up was superb, the passing, defending and in fact everything.. I will sleep tonight proud of my team, oh and a special mention to Seb Larrsson, did me proud today you did Ha'waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay the Laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaads
It's a top result, Joe We make the SoL a fortress and we can yet thrive. Bet Chelski are re-thinking their QF line-up as we speak
took my youngest daughter to the match today (actually she took me as she won a pair of tickets at her school) I have to say it's the best game I've been to for a long while ...long may it continue
The last four games have changed our season. We're still in the **** up to our heads but our noses are poking out sniffing at fresh air.
My son called me, after the game, and said it was the proudest he's been in years ......... the Sunderland support was magnificent.
Agree my man, it will be tough but I do honestly think we will get there after today.. Seeing Gus on the touchline told me we are in good hands
I'm very hopeful now myself, before today I've been very pessimistic but we're finding our feet with plenty of time to go. Considering we've got an easier second half of the season things could swing in our favour. A win from the next two and I'll be over the moon at our turn around.
I was laughed at and mocked when I said that, after the next 4 games, we'd be fighting our way off the bottom and in the 1/4 finals of the cup ....... that was 4 games ago. If not for the shambles at a very poor Hull we'd be flying now and a game we can win coming up. Just saying like .............
Those two red cards left us ****ed against Hull. Who's to say what would have happened without them. I'm starting to believe again mate. It feels good.
3 wins in 4 and a qtr final place and a LOT closer to the pack now. We have the impetus and will be out of the bottom 3 before Christmas.
That's just what they were saying on the radio, that 2 were looking good for the drop and the rest weren't too worried. Now there's a big black cat running them down! And I don't know what the commentators said on TV but on the radio they were praising the lads big time, and that the 3 points were massively deserved.
as lucky as he may have been to stay on the pitch (yellow is what i'm told) then yes what a performance but bloddy hell wes man
I have to disagree with this..I felt that the majority of our fans were still carrying on the minutes silence until the last 15 minutes when they woke up and decided to back the team..
It was bad man, so bad, blood everywhere and all that but then Peter Pan turned up and before I knew it a load of Pink Fairies (remember the band anyone?) and play was allowed to continue. Yeah ME it was bad, we got away with it, we won & ha'waaaaaay..
