i'd genuinely love to see norwich take on the current england team in a one-off match. i think we'd win... seriously.

reason? commitment and passion and not lacking in skill either! <ok>

Excellent point my Dad mentioned this to me yesterday, personally I think Lambert will buy in more foreign players but I still think we'll be a very British team so to speak. Mr Pearce should be looking at our squad more, really proud of our club this season they deserve some caps. On the flip side can we please ban our fans from wearing those stupid wigs?

Of course we would because they would only have 10 players ;)

Absolutely Supers. 'Little Old Norwich' - where's that. It's less than 2 hours by train from London (provided you don't have to catch a bus for part of the journey etc!!). I'm not holding my breath that any current or future England manager will ever visit Carrow Road.

One point at the bottom, Aparently PL changed the home shirt because he did not like the Green sleeves? All the strips I have loved most had green sleeves. Guess I can forgive him though.

You'd probably only like green sleeves if your name was Henry

It's things like this that makes me wonder about all the talk of him going to a 'big club'.

Leaving aside how much he might get paid - and he is hardly paid a pittance at Norwich - he has the kind of control over the team and the club that he is unlikely to get elsewhere.

I often console myself to that kind of thinking eeore. Any move he makes has now got to be a special challenge. By doing so well at Norwich he has ruled himself out of teams like Bolton, Wolves, Blackburn etc and would teams like Villa or Everton, who have been feeling the financial pinch recently, have the resources to give him what he needs in his next step up?

That leaves us with clubs in the top 6. Most of these are doing pretty well - that's why they are in the top six in the first place!!! And would most of those want to try a man unproven at managing foreign 'prima donna' superstars? Most of those top six have mill/billionaire owners who seem to want to go the foreign coach route so as far as I'm concerned that's fine by me!

Above all else Lambert has got security at Norwich. Time is on his side. Even if a freak series of injuries plagued our next campaign and we ended up going down I would still trust in him to know how to get us out of the Championship! Would he get much time at his next club? Would he have such total control over so many aspects of the football club? Who knows! When somebody does come calling they will no doubt throw an awful lot of money at him but they better be prepared to back that up in terms of finance for his player requests.

I'd love to see Lambert stay for 25 years like SAF has at Manure. Just think if he was able to improve the team year on year like he has up to now!!!

Pretty much sums up how I feel re Lambert in that he completes the jigsaw between - the board, the players and last and not least the superb fans - he is 'loved' and respected by everyone at NCFC.

Can total belive lambert gas that level of control. Apparently at the club what McNally and Lambert want, they get.
McNally has one of the flat son the river just down from Carrow road paid for by the club. However we could be paying them in gold bricks for all I care... So long as appropriate tax is paid, anyone seen them in a scouting mission in Monaco recently.
I can't see lambo leaving for money, it would have to be a really great opertunity. Somewhere where he will have time and money to build something. If we could get some money this club will give him everything he asks for.
