Mad Dog nominated for January Manager of the Month

Sky Sports news have just announce that

"Gillingham boss Martin Allen among three nominations for manager of the month"

It's been stuck as the news banner for about 10 minutes.

I've been unable to find a link to confirm this.... Yet.

 

Wimbledon's Neal Ardley and John Ward of Bristol Rovers are also Shortlisted.

 

Must have been a slow month for managers then

 

After the home performances and the transfer dealings, if MA is voted manager of the month for January, he is a cert to be Pope by the end of Feb.

A big well done to Martin Allen and the boys. How often has a Gills manager been nominated for Manager of the Month in the past? This is Allen's 3rd nomination this season, with 1 win, he also had a month where he was nominated despite having a record that was at least on par with the 3 nominations and we beat 2 of those teams that month too.
