Another ridiculous decision in the world of football ownership. Mowbray has done an excellent job to get Sunderland playing attractive football with nothing but kids and over-achievers. 3 points off the play offs, even less cash and wage budget than us and he’s a real football man.

I’d be surprised if the Sunderland fans are happy about it. I think one of the main reasons we won’t get relegated from this league anytime soon is the saving grace that there are even more inept owners out there than ours.

Maybe NP could land himself a job up there but I expect he’s had his fill of a poorly ran club after us.

Think you’re forgetting one thing about Nige, he’s not well. He still has to sort out his health issues before taking on another role in football.

Crazy
One of the best Managers at this level
They are another badly run club who seem to think they are entitled to instant success, despite being in L1 only 2 seasons ago

I think when you look at his website, he’s outlining his time with us in a way that shows he’s not finished with management yet. But you’re probably right, for the time being he might be looking to take the season off.

LJ couldn't get the biggest club out of L1.
I wonder if that was because he was replaced at end of January whilst just a couple points off top place .................

Championship 2022
Micheal O'Neill [ Stoke ] 4 points from 5 games August 25 2022 ... Dean Holden in temp charge
Alex Neil [ Sunderland ] August 29th left to replace Micheal O Neil. Alex Neil inherited a LJ squad and got promotion as did Heckingbotham at Barnsley

footstats doesnt want play anymore or else you could look it up yourself
