Well deserved, especially as Dean Saunders was pushing him hard as runner up...........<laugh>

Gary Johnson at Yeovil and Martin Allen at the Gills got the League 1 & 2 awards.

Anyone remeber the "In GJ we thrust" tag about Johnson at the wurzels a few years back?

Aye - a 0-6 demolition was the scoreline, and Johnson should have tripped up Fontaine before his own goal......<laugh>

I seem to remember Nicky Maynard played against us in that game and didn't get a kick.

    About time Malky got recognition.

As for GJ at Yeovil, a terrific achievement by him and the club. If I remember rightly they started well, then went on a terrible run taking them towards the foot of the table, then came back to get promoted via the play offs. However, that award shows little respect for what Brian Flynn did at Donnie or Eddie Howe at Bournemouth.

I know Howe came in half way through the season but he inspired a mid table group of players to get auto promotion and only failed to take the title by the Brentford last minute penalty miss and subsequent Donnie break away goal.
