    No. No. No.

Watch him every game at the Amex (son born in Brighton so he's a Brighton fan)

Good when he doesn't have to think, but generally runs round like a headless chicken. Average finisher - Championship suits his abilities.

I've seen a lot of him at Brighton. Fantastic work ethic makes him a fan's favourite. Does not stop running to shut down defenders. But needs five chances to take one. Not exactly what we need.

Funny how things change. 18 months ago he was seen in the same light as Danny Graham.

Maybe he has not kicked on as DG has?

    Another Mackie then?

I guess the clue was in the first four letters and his choice of nationality! :)

Incidentally, it must be odd for the Scots dressing room to have Mackie there with his very southern accent; like Republic of Ireland in the 90s with Andy Townsend and Tony Cascarino (who later was found to have no descendants from the Emerald Isle, his only claim was to have once drunk a pint of Guiness on St Patricks Day!)

excellent work ethic as some have already stated, but doubt he would be a 15 goal machine for us in the Prem. That said, I must say I quite like him purely for the effort, but guess we have one of those in Mackie :)

According to Wiki he has played 252 games for Peterborough (185) and Brighton (67), scoring 100 goals...not sure how up to date that is though.

I've always liked him when I've seen him.
Problem is, he'll probably think staying put is the better option.
