See ya!!! Even my 8 year old daughter thinks your a self-centred twat!

Manchester United's Federico Macheda, currently on loan at QPR, has revealed he still hopes to establish himself as a Manchester United player.

The young striker travelled to Italy on Sunday to see the Rome derby and was backing his team Lazio against Roma, which ended well for him - this isn't something that can be said about his loan move to QPR.

Since Mark Hughes came the player hasn't had much of a look in and this week he was fined £15,000 by The FA for comments made on Twitter, a fine he's appealing. However, Macheda still had time to look on the bright side whilst talking to Radio Mana Mana Sport "I decided on Thursday to come to Rome to attend the derby live, when I had the certainty of having a day off. I took advantage to come and with the help of my cousin managed to find a ticket in the Curva Nord. I arrived in Rome on Sunday morning and I left the next day, I just could not miss this event. In the end I just can say that it was worth it."

"I am still owned by Manchester United, I do not know what the future holds but certainly after the loan I will go back to Ferguson. Needless to say, the dream is to establish myself with that shirt, even though everyone knows how difficult it can be. I'll take all my chances."

Am I missing something here, what's wrong with it?

Your game was on Saturday wasn't it? Saturday night flight after being told on Thursday that he was going to have the time off to go to the game in Rome doesn't seem a problem. Coming back on Monday might be, but I would have thought the day after a game is normal to not be training, so that would mean it was the Monday he was told about on Thursday.

As far as Man U goes, why would you expect a Man U player out on loan to say anything other than at the end of the season they plan to go back to them and hope to establish themselves there? It's not even like he's playing every week with you to be able to say he's unsure about whether he's better fighting for a place there or leaving to play regularly for you.

That bit I could see, if he can't get in a struggling PL side (which you've been the whole time he's been with you) he's not likely to make it into a top one. It was the self centred twat bit that I couldn't see the relevence, is that just in addition to the joke because it looked like it was to do with the article. Plus we all know being a self centred twat doesn't stop someone becoming a top player.

I'm expecting to see him at FC Lasagne in Serie D6 sooner rather than later. The truth is if he applied himself he could probably have a decent career in Serie B or The Championship but he's a lazy bastard on the pitch and a bit of a prick off it. And the smoking doesn't help any footballer.

There's so much you seem to have missed!
Why comment on something when you clearly don't know all the facts.
He's a spoiled twat cos he moaned and whined on twitter about not being in Saturday's squad. He's a twat cos he made homophobic remarks and got fined by the FA.
Get into the Man Utd team? <laugh><laugh><laugh><laugh><laugh><laugh><laugh><laugh><laugh><laugh>

Here goes again, Hull fans obsessing over QPR. Its become a theme now. I bet you watched "The 4-year plan" over and over since Sunday night, eh?

Because I was asking a question about the situation. That's how most people find out about things that they don't know everything about. I legitimately didn't see what was wrong with anything in the article (for the reasons I went on to give) so I asked what I was missing. I was aware of the homophobic comments but that wouldn't make him self-centred, I wasn't aware of the whinging about not being in the team (or the smoking that Watford R mentioned) so thanks for providing that information.

I've watched it once. There was the odd bit of information I didn't already know, but most of it was familiar because I've been using another QPR forum for years.

In terms of asking about Macheda though, it's more of a Man U youth/reserves obsession. If he doesn't do well with you this year, which he's not, he's going have to drop down a level, either here or abroad. In which case we're prime candidates to end up with him on loan if he stays in this country because we're rapidly signing the Man U youth team, 4 permanent signings and 2 loans in the current squad that have been brought in since January last year. It'd be nice to know in advance what we could be in for.
