Hughes shrugs off another Twitter outburst from Macheda By Peter Higgs Last updated at 11:44 PM on 3rd March 2012 Mark Hughes dismissed a Twitter outburst from disgruntled striker Federico Macheda, on loan from Manchester United, on the day the Queens Park Rangers manager claimed to have witnessed evidence of why his side will survive in the Premier League. The Italian forward's outburst came after the match, for which he was not selected - even on the bench - and led to him tweeting: 'Totally ****** off. This is not what I deserve. **** all.' Hughes, who said he was delighted by his team's display in a tight match, responded: 'What is he talking about? Perhaps he has broken a watch or dropped his phone. 'Who knows what he has done? You're assuming it is about the game and not being involved. Until I speak to him I can't really comment, can I? 'Why are we talking about a player who wasn't on the pitch rather the ones who ran their ******** off for the team?' Macheda, who has not scored in six appearances for QPR in a two-month loan stint, was charged by the Football Association this week for an allegedly homophobic comment made on the social network website. Even though QPR have taken only five points from seven matches since Hughes succeeded Neil Warnock and remain just above the relegation zone with arguably the toughest run-in of the struggling clubs, the former Manchester City boss was pleased with a 1-1 draw against Everton. 'I was delighted by what we produced and thought it was an important platform for our survival,' he said. 'I know how to win games and today I was encouraged. I thought there was an understanding of what was required.' Read more: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...as-sweary-Twitter-outburst.html#ixzz1o6XFXKcs
I spoke to kiko in the w12 club tonight and he told me he has requested that his loan is terminated with immediate effect. He came across as a very naive young man IMHO
He's not only ****e but clearly has an attitude problem to go with his smoking habit. He's still just about living off that goal against Villa and he'll be in Serie B soon if he's lucky.
You see those type of give it large Berties about don't you? Loads a gob, no action? Everyone avoids them in the pub - except for the dopey bird... Htf did one get passed Fergy?
I was with my 8 year old daughter after the Wigan game. I tried to get Kiko to sign her programme and get a photo with her but he just wasn't interested. He signed the programme with a squiggle whilst carrying on walking, and rolled his eyes when we asked for a photo. He carried on walking as we tried to get a pic, he just didn't want to know. It was the same for the other five or six kids who wanted to do the the same. Buzsaky on the other hand, she loves him and has a great picture with him on her bedroom wall.
At the end of the day he was bought in by neil. who thought he was not going to get the player in we have. Mark has come in and bought other players and he has drop down the pegging. Football can be a tough man up and get over. if he was so great fergie would not let him go out on loan
Time to have a little chat and then call it a day. Best you go back to Manchester and walk into the team there. NOT!!!
I can't speak Italian but his twitter seems to say destination roma a short while ago. In case he's only visiting I suggest you change the locks Sparky!!
Not surprised, the guy is obviously a total plank. Being a plank is one thing, but being a plank and not being any good is another. Get rid.
Are you sure it's nothing to do with this..... Federico Macheda, Nile Ranger and Manny Smith have been charged by the Football Association over alleged homophobic comments on Twitter. Manchester United striker Macheda, currently on loan at QPR, Newcastle forward Ranger and Walsall's Smith are accused of acting in a way which was "improper and/or brought the game into disrepute", including "a reference to a person's or persons' sexual orientation". The three players have until 4pm on Wednesday to respond. An FA statement read: "Newcastle United's Nile Ranger, Walsall's Manny Smith and Manchester United's Federico Macheda, currently on loan at Queens Park Rangers, have all been charged with improper conduct in relation to comments made on Twitter. "The charge is that the players acted in a way which was improper and/or brought the game into disrepute. "It is further alleged that the breach included a reference to a person's or persons' sexual orientation. "Each has until 4pm on Wednesday 29 February 2012 to respond to the charge." West Ham midfielder Ravel Morrison was last week fined £7,000 by the FA in response to a homophobic remark made on Twitter. Morrison, who completed an undisclosed switch to Upton Park from Manchester United at the end of January, is reported to have made the comment in response to another Twitter user. The 19-year-old was also warned as to his future conduct by the FA.
