Macheda hit with FA fine Striker hit with £15,000 fine for Twitter comments By Pete O'Rourke - Follow me: @skysportspeteo. * Last Updated: March 5, 2012 5:28pm Federico Macheda: Fined by the FA for comments he made on Twitter Manchester United striker Federico Macheda has been fined £15,000 by the Football Association for making a homophobic comment on Twitter Macheda, currently on loan at Queens Park Rangers, was found guilty of using "an abusive and/or insulting word including a reference to a person's sexual orientation." West Ham midfielder Ravel Morrison was fined £7,000 pounds two weeks ago for a similar offence. Macheda could also find himself in trouble with QPR boss Mark Hughes for comments he made on Twitter after he was left out of the squad for Saturday's draw with Everton.
Spot on Eamon/Norway. I remember seeing him not going to head the ball a few times....something to do with his boyjizz hair cream endorsement. Return to sender. COYRsssssssss
Hardly surprising. His asked for his loan with us to be terminated so won't be around much longer anyway.
It was along the lines of "**** this I deserve better" He the deleted said tweet and now reckons his going to close his whole twitter down.
Do Hughes and Ferguson get on? I know he played for SAF in the olden days. If there is some respect there, Macheda has done himself no good at all over the last few weeks, Hughes is not likely to send him back with a glowing report.
Ferguson brought him back from Barca and he stayed a good few years so I imagine they are on speaking terms.
£15 Grand for that???? Christ, who spotted that and reported it? There are some real jobsworth ****es out there. Perhaps he should of called him a ' rather frightful quare !'
You could only be offended by that if you have a negative view on gays, quite ironic that. Also, the word homophobic is stupid, ..phobic means you are scared of something, Ive never known anyone who is scared of gays.
