    Remember when we were linked to this guy? Was it our first Prem run?

    Was reading the paper today and Blackburn have released him.

    Not saying we should sign him lol but what a fall from grace, star in the Holland U21's and moving to the Prem yet rarely played and is now a free agent, probably off to the lower tiers of Dutch football.

    Under 21 football can be misleading as there are talented kids playing against less talented adults.

    If I remember rightly, wasn't it an injury that stopped him from joining us back then?

    He did join us for a very unsuccessful loan spell.

    He came on as a late sub in his first game, can't remember who against and I'm pretty sure he did his hamstring pretty early on in his second game and got sent back to Blackburn. I think he only played about 25 mins in total for us.
