http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...superior-Tottenham-claims-Louis-van-Gaal.html When asked whether he regretted not taking the Spurs job, the Dutchman answered: 'In the balance we (United) are still ahead (of Tottenham) and you take one match as something that I have to say the challenge is bigger. ‘The challenge is always bigger in a bigger club. I like Tottenham and Daniel Levy knows that but the challenge is bigger in Manchester United and shall always be bigger. ‘I am sorry for Tottenham but Manchester United will always be the bigger club. I think it is pathetic you use one game to say that but that is up to you.’
"When asked whether he regretted not taking the Spurs job, the Dutchman answered: 'In the balance we (United) are still ahead (of Tottenham) and you take one match as something that I have to say the challenge is bigger." Indeed. Much bigger challenge to make it appear you have repaired the Moyes season and then get the team playing even worse.
Long may he remain at Old Trafford. Although if he got the chance to move to Tottenham and ruin them, that would be good too.
I doubt that, unfortunately. He's created a side in his own image at Spurs, which he wouldn't be able to do working with the big egos at City, Utd, Chelsea etc. When he goes it'll be to Spain imo.
I'm a Spurs fan and obviously I hope we can keep him as long as possible. But yes, I agree, if and when he goes I think it will be to Real or Barca.
Not sure that Poch is high profile enough for Real or Barca at this point in his managerial career tbh ... what I do think might happen is that when the next managerial casualty from the Sky4 happens ...perhaps even at 'Pool if Klopp, flops ... is that Diego Simeone will be top of the money men's hit list as he continues to deliver at Athletico ... I could then see them courting Poch if that happened ... whether he would move or not is another question of course ...
I agree. I don't think it will be to Utd. It will be to one of the Spanish teams. He's cut his teeth on a couple of medium sized English clubs and has shown that he could improve a Spanish team also. Personally I think Real would take him on.
