The Oak stand with a capacity of 1800 is where the travelling Horns will be housed. It must be the only ground in the country that you enter through residents back gardens.

This is a fixture that has a historic rivalry, given the closeness of the two teams geographically. Add to that a real need for both teams to land three points and this game could be a cracker!

Having overseen what was a respectable first-ever Premier League campaign, there was the perception that Rob Edwards had plenty of credit in the bank at Luton.

Instead, the head coach finds himself under pressure to get things back on track, with his side collecting just eight points from their opening nine games.

Tom Cleverley is enjoying a far more positive season with Watford, who have impressively taken 16 points from their first nine games to emerge as surprise promotion contenders.

Things remain far from perfect, with the Hornets having lost their last three fixtures on their travels, but Cleverley would have jumped at this points tally had it been handed to him prior to the start of the season.

    Team News

No news as yet, we must wait to see if any of our international players have picked up knocks.

Luton have one or two injury doubts, and Liam Walsh is suspended for the red card he picked up against Oxford.

The Staffordshire referee has been in the middle for six EFL fixtures this season and issued a total of 39 yellow cards, 11 of which came in Middlesbrough’s 2-0 victory over Stoke City last month, and one red.
Mark Dwyer and Carl Fitch-Jackson are due to be the assistant referees for the fixture at the struggling Hatters, with Declan Bourne on fourth official duties.

Bright sunshine up here on Costa del Moray - probably too late to switch the match though...

I doubt that Porteous will be tired after his international bench warming.

The last game I saw before I left the UK was a boring 0-0 draw against this lot in 1993. Seems a long time ago now.
