Another difficult game. Buendia will be back, lets hope for some good news on injuries. Game live on Sky Red Button Aarons fit to play
The injury list has become surreal but I still voted for the win. On the plus side the boys being thrown in from the academy will be absolutely buzzing to get into the team. Buendia is the best player in this division imho and our centre back pairing is extremely strong, Skipp has been flawless in pretty much every game. Even with this decimated squad we have a far better team than Luton so we shouldn’t be too downbeat.
As long as we have to suffer through all the injuries, I want to see the young ones get some minutes. Omotoye especially I'd like to see what he can do at this level. Nizet scored twice last week but I know nothing about his defending. It's a dirty shame Mumba is also hurt right now; he could be getting valuable experience.
Latest news is that Pukki, Aarons and Rupp could be back for Luton game. Cantwell could be back for Sheffield Wednesday game on 5th December
Hopefully so, even if they are on the bench if we need the firepower for the end of the game it would be useful!. I put us down for a draw, but hoping for the win obviously!
Omotoye is a centre back but could possibly do a job as full back . Placheta has played wing back so possibly start Zimmerman in a back 3 with attacking wing backs Buendia and Martin further forward
And more of that in the not too distant future https://www.canaries.co.uk/News/202...it-for-luton-and-encouraging-signs-elsewhere/
I think we will have a narrow win because unfortunately I do not see McGovern keeping a clean sheet in Krul's absence but with the return of Bendy (Emi) I think our attack will be too strong for their defence. (and we need revenge for that cup defeat, when the majority of our 1st team were away on international duty)
Ah yes you are correct. I think both made the squad last game if Pukki doesn't make the team next time perhaps a cheeky 10 minutes run out for Omotoye would be a good idea as Stiepermann fades
Sadly no Pukki or Rupp. Aarons is fit to play though. Who is going to play the striker role? Quintilla is back in Spain so looks like Sorensen will be LB.
The biggest surprise is Kieran Dowell back in training at the end of this week: "On Teemu Pukki, Farke said that the forward won’t be fit for Luton but will be in contention to face Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday. "For the long term, some good news,” Farke said. “Kenny McLean could have been out for four or five months but that's not the case. He could be back around Christmas. Good news with Kieran Dowell. It looks like we can bring him back to training at the end of this week."
I hope these guys aren't being rushed back. Call me glass-half-empty, but it must be tempting to call on Pukki if he's "nearly" fit when we've got no one else available.
It's possible that Placheta could play up front with Martin and Buendia on the flanks and Stieperman in the hole and Vrančić as impact sub. Looks like Skipp and Tettey again in midfield and the same defence as last time.
