I'm trying to get my tickets for the Luton game online but when I click on it, I get this message: "To renew your Season Ticket Click Here You need to have purchased tickets for the matches listed below... Please see above for info." It's supposed to have gone on general sale today, but by the sounds of it I am expected to be season ticket holder? I am aware you need a customer number for this game, and I have one because I am logged in when I am trying to get the tickets. Anyone else trying/failing the same way?
I have - is that not what I use to login? I have it from a) when I bought my shirt and b) when I got tickets for Wigan, and it says at the top of the page: Hi, Liam (XXXXXXX) <-- that being a seven digit number which I can only assume is my customer number, and if it isn't then where am I supposed to enter it?
Be quicker to phone mate, i bought mine over the phone yesterday thinking there would be plenty left and got told that mostly all they had left were single seats! On a seperate note did any body else think the price we are charging the Spuds fans was crazy ? £62 each with booking fee !!! we'll have them waving plackards at the tv.
**** Me - That is absolutely ridiculous! I was thinking about the 10% hike in season ticket prices for next season and that I am getting very near to my cut off limit. How many people have had a 10% pay rise in the last year? In fact, how many people have had the equivalent of a 10% pay rise over the last five years? With energy prices going through the roof, fuel prices showing no other trend but to rise substancially, how can the football club fleece 'their loyal and desrving fans' so much? If you think about it, they have got their prices wrong several times this season. The Spurs cup game was over priced and the Luton game has been under priced. You could argue the two cancel themselves out but I wanted to see both games, not just the one against Luton. I know its a business. I don't need people telling me that. I understand its all about supply and demand but I feel my club are not pricing their tickets for the hard working class of their supporters correctly and its annoying me - a lot! Rant over!
I think the season ticket price isn't too bad, but the price for casual fans for some of the lesser teams is extortionate - £45 to see Fulham I think and I see no reason why we should be charging ANY fans more than £50 a ticket!!!! I'll certainly have to think about whether or not I renew in 2015-2016, as I expect the cheapest seat will be around £600 then!!!!
I guess I am feeling the pinch right now going down to one wage with the missus on maternity leave and the little un to provide for. It's tough out there but sometimes I wonder if the suits truly realise what it is like, cocooned in their executive boxes!
i think andy is right - the tickets all sold out yesterday morning. i can report that i bought tickets for me and the missus but have given them to my friend and his young son, 7, so that he can go to his first ever football match. let the next generation have a sneaky peak at the good stuff! my good deed for the year
