    ... pits one manager who's leaving his club, for a few dollars more, against another who left his for the same reason.

    I doubt if either have any affection for their new club or care if they're sacked. It's just another badge kissing performance with the prospect of a nice payoff to look forward to.

    These managers demand loyalty and commitment from the players but display none themselves.

    It's poor and getting worse imo.

    That sense of community, loyalty, and part of a cause is long gone mate - sadly. Money is the god nowadays. I don't begrudge people moving on to earn a few bob but football managers and agents are just rancid nowadays

    I don't blame anyone for moving a job for money.

    I just live for the day when a manager or player says it. " No chance of me knocking that cash back mind , I'm off".

    I'll be waiting a long time.
