hi you london qpr lads, travelling over on sat from dublin for the blackburn game flying into luton i know i go to luton parkway train station on the shuttle bus but the last time i went i got a train to st pancrus ? ( kings cross ) (i think ) anyway it was a huge station and i think the euro tunnel train ran from there place was a fukin maze and queues everywhere even for a tube ticket ( walked about a mile to get from train to tube and queued for 20 mins ) is there an easier route ( like a smaller and more accessable tube station ) thanks in advance for your help qpr 3 blackburn 1 mackie , campbell, wright-philips. !!! buying my new 125 anniv home top with my man of the season ( derry 4 ) on the back and 2 premier badges for the sleeves , please !! i'll get shaun to sign it on the way in ! so keep an eye out for me, in my spanky new shirt dublin dave com on uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr;ssssssssssss!!!
If you want to avoid kings cross dave, I would say get off the train at west hampstead (couple of stops before) and jump on the overground to shepherds bush Will look out for you with the new shirt! Im waiting for my season ticket refund first so still sporting the binatone!! COYRS
Dave there are two options, 1. Come out of St Pancras Station on to the Euston Road, turn left and go to the underground station at Kings Cross. I think the long queues at St Pancras to buy tickets are due to the high number of French speaking people who get off the Eurostar and can't speak english looking for directions to hotels etc. The queues should be a lot less at Kings Cross than at St Pancras. From Kings Cross, you can get the Hammersmith and City line direct to Shepherds Bush market where there are lots of pubs etc for a few drinks and a spot of lunch. 2. Come out of St Pancras station on to the Euston Road, turn right, go past the main Euston station to Euston Square underground station. It is maximum 10 minute walk. This is a much smaller/quieter station so the queue for tickets will be a lot less. This station is also on the Hammersmith and City line and will take you direct to the Bush. Good luck and enjoy the game.
Reckon they've given you all the options DD. All's left to say is bon voyage and have a great day - I'll be keeping me eye out for a Dub in sparkling hoops!!
