What's on the menu? I'm thinking of having fish (herring or mackerel), boiled potatoes and green beans. I quite often only have one meal a day so that's why it's a bit more substantial. Is anyone having soup for their lunch? I don't know if I've mentioned it before but I really like soup.
I'm boiling up a chicken carcass with thighs to make a nice broth . Celery big chunks of ginger pepper corns garlic cabbage. Diced carrot spuds and sweetcorn later.
I like a nice broth, especially Scotch Broth!! Perhaps I should start a soup thread, don't think it's been done before.
If you keep them in the freezer you can stick a load of them up your bottom and lay them without melting .
Just for you @EasterRoad1980 https://www.theguardian.com/food/20...ps-from-curried-carrot-to-creamy-sweet-potato
That's a list of Soups for Poofters basically. Would not have expected anything less from the Lefty Loony Woke Grauniad.
Soups For Poofters topped all the bestseller lists this Christmas, even outselling the ever popular Quiches For Queerhawks.
You were outed years ago Mick, think it was the collection of Gloria Gaynor and Pet Shop Boys albums that gave you away.
