A team has asked permission to speak to him, nothing is agreed.

Mixed emotions about this really. Out of all of the other strikers, Norris' creativity is the only real one who brings others into play. Also the best partner for Cody. But we probably can't turn down money for him as we can hopefully spend it elsewhere.

Grrrrr if a team like Rotherham pay 120K where does that leave us in the quest for a 'decent' forward. Rare as hen's teeth and cost a fortune. Norris was and is a good team worker and one who keeps going until the end unlike Donnelly who showed a flash of potential last season but this turned out to be a flash in the pan
I have a bad feeling about this season and JE does not, at this moment, inspire me with confidence as the team is a shadow of its pre season potential shown last season. We are hearing all the positives that one expects from a manager who is papering over the cracks but the realities of the defeats at the hands of lower league opposition speaks volumes.
If things are not going well by Christmas I believe JE will be taking the walk of shame soon after.

Must have been watching a different team mate, when Cody was finally fit he was playing his best alongside Norris. Samuel would also back that up with linking up with Luke better than any of the other strikers. He was the only one last season who had any sort of ability to hold the ball up when needed.

looks like going to the swine. Mind you if we get 150K for him that's good business. Gives us bit of money to bring in some more additions.

Shame to see him go but we probably can't say no to £150,000 for someone like Norris anyways. Let's hope it gets used wisely.
