Could have thrown his toys out of the pram but has stuck to his task and has been a useful squad player this season.

At Wigan last week he went into a challenge and could easily have broken his neck when he fell awkwardly from height. I couldn't believe it when he got up, dusted himself off and carried on after treatment.

A well deserved goal today from The Quiet Man <ok>

Agree 100% always does his best, he is down the pecking order but when he gets a chance and it doesn't pay off,it's not for the want of trying

Quality player that I can see us using moore and moore (sorry about the pun).

He seemed unsuited to the rough and tumble of the lower league but he's always done his job efficiently, quietly and without fuss at this level, as has been said. I like the guy and can see him as a valuable squad member likely to get more games and playing even better as a result of it.

And me - says a lot about the team spirit that Brenda has created - no ego's - every player committed to the cause whether they are playing every week or not! We are lucky that we have a group of players that are happy to do whatever is asked of them - the defenders attack and the attackers are happy to defend!

We are a true 'team' in every sense of the word and that is why we have been so successful! Am so proud of all the players - they have all been magnificent, regardless of how many first team appearances they have made. :)

Today we beat a team whose subs bench cost more than our entire squad and stadium! And we beat them well, playing football as it was meant to be played - no superstars - just a squad of honest professionals who play for the team and not for themselves - not many clubs can say that. Have nothing but the utmost respect for every one of them - they continue to do us proud and have earnt the right to premier league football next season!

How good is it to be a Jack boys and girls! :) :) :) :)

He has this knack of controlling and holding up balls that look well above him! It's unbelievable sometimes!

Watched an interview of him yesterday, seams such a down to earth lad. Brendan really rate the lad mentioned how he lived outside the area when he first moved down here, and now living within City. I've always like the fella he can hold the ball up well and bring the midfield into the game.

Isn't it great being a JACK!!!!!!!!!!

Such a lazy player, let's be honest. But Rodgers has found a role for him and it's working so full credit to player and manager.

Now that Agustien is out , Moore might get more minutes against the rougher teams . P.S. What an absolute quality header that was yesterday , cool as you please too . If were being honest , a great team player .

I don't agree, Breezy. Team players work for each other and he never seems to put a shift in. One goal, as great as it was doesn't change my opinion. That's why Rodgers only plays him for short periods. Great goal yesterday, though not as impressive as his goal v Bolton in the cup which to be fair I thought was awesome.

Scotland used to be accused of laziness but we forgave him because of his immense goal contribution. Moore has a long way to go before we can do that imo.

Fantastic contribution from Moore yesterday and it just goes to show that Rodgers, like all good managers, has the knack of getting the best out of his players.

Thank god we're not managers. Most of us (including me) would have offloaded Moore a while back.

Er...ok. So you think most Swans fans actually rated Moore before yesterday? Come on. The general feeling on here was quite the opposite. Fair play to Norway, he's gone as far to say that Moore is our 'most technically gifted forward', which I still think is preposterous, btw. But he's the only one that I can think of that praised Moore to that extent before yesterday's game.

I think most Swans fans would agree that the lad has bags of talent! When he can be bothered!

With Sig now working behind the lone forward, Moore might be worth a try up front more often and perhaps start a game or two. I think he has more dimensions to his game than Graham, is capable of taking defenders on and is more likely to strike from distance. Graham needs somebody else to play him in to score rather creating for himself, and he's missed his share of "sitters". Sunday was a rare instance where Moore sub'd for Graham; usually it is for Dyer or another midfielder. And when he gets a chance he usually hits the target.

If you guys have a look at the sun online and watch the press conference from Brenden Rodgers He talks with great passion about Luke Moore and says how Luke has recently "moved into the city" and "absolutly loves the area" i beleive that the player is now comfortable at the club and feels wanted and part of things under rodgers,as rodgers says in his press conference luke moore was regarded as" one of the best young talents in europe" high praise indeed!, Luke moore was quoted as saying yesterday that"he wished he had joined this club when he was 19yrs old" what i beleive is that his massive talent is being nurtured in the correct way and he is very much a confidence player, the environment that he is in at swansea will eventually give him the platform to fulfil his early potential.

Luke also suffers a bit from Jason Scotland syndrome, which can be a problem if your a confidence player maybe. Because he is not running around like a headless chicken he is perceived as being completely lazy, and as we all know if you dont run up to the East stand and kiss the badge like Lee trundle you are on a major downer with alot of the Jack faithful, sad but true im afraid.

Alot of posters wouldnt know a good player from a bad one, truth is, they are all good players with varying degrees of potential!! but we tend to focus only on a players weak point and not their strong points!!

DG- runs around alo," hard working player" but cant swivel/turn and shoot in one motion, turns slower than a milk float and is often 2 yrds away from a pass because he is still recovering from running 30yrds to chase a lost cause. If he run around a little less he may gain that extra yard when needed.

Leroy Lita- Has a great leap and is great in and around the box but has a terrible first touch and doesnt seem like a natuaral footballer.

Work ethic is important, i beleive every swans player that goes on the field tries his hardest and gives 100%, but everybody has strengths and weaknesses . if Luke Moore had the same "engine" as wayne rooney then he would be a top 4 club player, he doesnt, thats why he plays for Swansea city, if DG could turn quickly and shoot without taking all the time and space in the world and not be a yrd behind passes all the time he would be a top 4 club player.... get my drift ??

Sometimes we all forget that they are at SCFC for a reason, that reason is that they are good players with potential not the finished article and world class <ok>
we all forget this from time to time ,but lets be honest there isnt a better striker at the club than Luke Moore when it comes to technique<ok>

A lot of good points there, Norway. I think DG's striking ability does suffer from the amount of work he has to do (a la Pintado). Mind you, the turn and shot against QPR was bordering on world class!

Luke Moore has a casual, almost lazy style which does not endear him to many of us. His technique and ability, however, is there for all to see. The way he takes a long, high ball on his chest before controlling it and laying it off speaks volumes about him. Unfortunately, so does his apparent reluctance to get involved in the dog work.

If Buck can coax some confidence into him and encourage him to up his team/work rate, we could have quite a player on our hands. Like so many, the ability is there, all that's needed is the right attitude. Keep working on him, Buck.
