Before anyone bites my head off this is not a WUM but I was just wondering if anyone could give me an honest appraisal Of his performance today. I'm told he completely changed the game but this is from Chelsea fans so undoubtedly has an element of bias. We've paid big money for this guy and I think he's got a lot of potential but seems a but raw, but at 19 that's to be expected. What did you guys make of his performance?
I find your presence on here quite irritating. If you want to know how the guy played, it might be worth you watching MOTD later and then you can make your own mind up. .
Not really. I struggle to understand why 5 minutes after his team have finished playing, a guy would prefer to be on here rather than on his own clubs site.
We finished playing about half an hour ago. Can't really judge a player on MOTD Highlights but forget it I'll just ask on the Liverpool board if it's too much to ask.
I'm inclined to agree with Spurcat that it didn't really need a thread, you could've read the match thread or asked on there, as Purley did I think. Infact you've got Stanclave on your own board that you could've asked. Anyhow, since this is here he had a good game. His pace was a problem for with runs behind Gallas and Vertonghen but he could've done with being a bit more composed when he got the ball.
Cheers YV. Just wanted an honest appraisal from somebody sensible. I didn't see the point asking other Chelsea fans because we can't be objective. Much better to come from a neutral.
He changed the game because of his pace/Gallas and Verts lack of pace. We should have brought on Caulker but for some strange reason Jenas was introduced. I'm one of the few who is not anti Jenas but his introduction today was never going to be very helpful. Hopefully AVB learnt something today.
One of the things I disliked about him was his stubbornness. He gets something in his head and seems extremely reluctant to change. maybe last year will have loosened him up a bit though.
looked good to me when he came on....however i also felt that he is not a 90 minute player..was used perfectly by clarke......sent on with 25 to go so he can bust a gut....however that was a hectic 25 for our defense....and i think all his managers here have realised that in PL...an impact sub at best.
Half a Drogba, unfortunately its the half that won't win you the match, he'll muscle his way past most defenders and create an ooportunity, as he did yesterday, but his final touch to finish and the finish itself, nowhere near DD. And yes you are a bit weird wanting to know about our game so soon after yours, 5 mins, half hour, even after one hour do you think I'm pondering about Chelsea??...fuk off buffoon! Oh and finally, you're a wum and who's been sussed by one or two of us who are infinitely better at this than you! Make the most of your little game while you can.
I didn't want to know anything about your game. It has no significance or bearing on my club. All I wanted was a brief appraisal on one of our loanees that happened to play against you but as it was so much to ask I asked the Liverpool fans instead whom were far more helpful and accommodating. Thank you for providing some detail anyway but the dig was not needed. If you can't ask genuine football questions like this I don't see the point in multi-team forums.
You reap what you sow DL....you spent long enough creating anti Spurs rubbish that some of us are not buying your new found intrest in us. You probably created this thread to basically say that the player that played well against us yesterday is a Chelsea player
Nothing to do with being touchy...I'm on a forum for written debate....I'd rather someone wum openely than trying to be sly....it's ****ing boring....if you think that we are being too touchy then take him back to your board where he can create the obvious anti Spurs bile for you to have a giggle at but don't come here calling people touchy because they wont feed your mate's need for attention.
Guys, I think you're trying to read between the non-existant lines a bit too much! I know it must be hard to admit a Chelsea player played well but come on
