    Luiz was **** today.
But he's a very promising player and come next season I have no doubt he will be one of the Prems top players.

Offside goal? Scrape scrape that barrel of bitterness! <laugh> Or is questioning the officials now the Chelsea "mantra"?

He will be if he can master defending. His basic defending was woeful yesterday. Every centre back worth his salt knows you can let the player past you, or you can let the ball past you, but you never risk letting both of them past you.

Sideshow Bob Luiz - needs to be utilised in a defensive midfield role...he is too inexperienced at CB for the prem

Alex is a better defender next to JT, & Luiz could be sensational next season if used as DM

    Two questions remain...

Will Carlo still be in post next season
will he recognise this little golden nugget we could have in this position

    I hope yes to both

Swarbs, I'm sure if he works hard he'll be nearly as good at defending as you.

He's only been in the Prem for half an hour, give him a chance. He is a good defender and will hopefully be a great defender. He certainly looks very promising.

Interesting call - he'd almost definitely be better than Mikel in the DM position, and would give you a lot more going forwards.

I dunno mate, my Sunday league team used to compare me to John Terry...but that was only after I shagged all their girlfriends <ok>

Mikel is a better passer and probably better positionally than Luiz.

The trouble with Mikel is he's very one dimensional

I'd say he was a one trick pony - but he hasn't perfected his trick yet

Luiz could unlock the potential of Torres in a Chelsea shirt (possibly) - someone needs to...

Not bitterness at all, you deserved to win the game for sure but the early offside goal didn't do us any favours. So well done on your 19th title!

I have to know why your potato headed twat has to again disgrace himself by sticking up two fingers at the Chelsea fans? Surely just joining in with your teams celebrations would have done a better job? Seems all the bollocks about learning his lesson after the West Ham debacle was just that and serves to remind everybody what an under-classed scouse **** he truly is <ok>

Like SW6 said, how was it offside? More like a perfectly timed run from level with the last defender:

    Hernandez Frame 1.jpg

    Hernandez Frame 2.jpg

The Rooney thing is just more tabloid bollox mate. If you watch the replay, he is clearly looking directly at the assistant referee and gesturing to his eyes, asking why the assistant didn't call Ivanovic's foul as the second yellow it should have been. He makes that gesture to officials all the time and no one cares about it. He made it to the ref after he missed Lampard's goal vs Germany at the WC.

But of course in the aftermath of the West Ham incident, everyone's looking for excuses to have a go at him. I would have thought you of all people would have checked the facts given your views on the tabloids after the Terry incident...

    It was onside.
I also agree that the Rooney thing is nonsense.

I am surprised that no-one has pointed out Rooneys incredible dive in the second half in his attempt to get Ivanovic sent off though. The one where he tried to make it look like Ivano had blocked him but sadly as he attempted to dive into Ivano he didn't even get close.
I would normally demand a yellow for such cheating but to be honest the entertainment value of Rooney making a cock of himself was justice enough.

Apart from that, the better team won. **** happens.

The pictures are inconclusive as the pictures taken from behind play make Cheaterito look level but on sky when they ran it he was marginally in front but its all academic now and they deserved their win in the end.

<laugh><laugh> And he phoned you and told you this did he?<laugh> Seems like the United propaganda machine was busy trying to deflect any blame from underclassed oaf.

No mate He phoned up Swarbs and said he was just showing the United physio how Ivanovich dived earlier on <laugh>

Or the disgraceful behaviour by Giggs in trying to get their referee to send off a fellow professional,Ivan by holding up four fingers.
Or was it a Rooney like gesture to the lino? <laugh>
